Vicky Thomas, Product Manager, Lucid Software

Vicky Thomas is the Product Manager at Lucid Software, makers of top-ranked productivity apps Lucidchart and Lucidpress. Upon joining Lucid in 2014, she defined the

product strategy and target market for recently launched Lucidpress, the world’s easiest design and layout app. Lucidpress has since grown to 1M+ users, with Vicky continuing to lead product definition and development. Prior to joining Lucid, Vicky spent two years as a Product Manager for Adobe Analytics, where she was responsible for simplifying the Marketing Cloud implementation process. While at Adobe, she also served on the Diversity and Awesomeness Site Councils, and captained the Adobe Utah soccer team.

Vicky is equally passionate about serving her community. After moving to Utah in 2012, Vicky quickly assumed several volunteer leadership roles in the state. A tremendous advocate for STEM education, she is a founding member and secretary of the Utah FIRST Executive Advisory Board 501(c)3, which hosts 55 teams of high school students at the Utah Regional FIRST Robotics Competition every March. Vicky also founded Adobe’s STEAM Team, whose events like Hour of Code and the STEM Unconference drew 2700 students, educators, executives, and legislators in their first quarter. Vicky is also an active member of the STEM Industry Investors’ Coalition, and is a two-time BYU speaker on STEM career paths. Additionally, Vicky serves as President of the MIT Club of Utah, and volunteered 140 hours in 2014 with local organizations TreeUtah, Canines with a Cause, and Kids on the Move.

Vicky holds an S.B. in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a certificate in Advanced Engineering Leadership from the GordonMIT

Engineering Leadership Program. In her free time, Vicky enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, hiking, and flying single engine aircraft. Originally from New London, NH, Vicky now lives in Salt Lake City, UT with her fiancé and their dog.
