Annual Program 2020-21

SheTech has activated more than 17,000 girls to pursue STEM fields. SheTech is a year-round program with opportunities to engage girls in STEM through industry internships, mentor and role model connections, hands-on engagement and connections with STEM resources and technology companies. This continued exposure and integration with industry helps give them the resources and support to launch successful careers.

SheTech Summit

SheTech Virtual Summit & Explorer Day are industry-centered, hands-on interactive STEM exploration days held across the country for 9th through 12th grade high school girls. These day-long events are focused on hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Girls spend the morning in hands-on sessions and the afternoon solving a technology challenge, pitching their solution and competing.

SheTech Virtual Summit

Virtual Summit in collaboration and partnership with STEM teachers, technology companies, government officials and education leaders. Student compete in the Tech Challenge, interact with mentors in live mentoring sessions, engage on collaborative workshops and activate their interest in STEM.

SheTech Coders

Introduced through a White House press brief, TechArt Hour of Code was the beginning coding module to introduce students to code. It not only showed girls how instructions impact code but showed them how their code creates an output and how all outputs can be used together to create something amazing.
